This curly bob style is actually relatively low maintenance. Because of the layers and angle, it can hold its shape for 2-3 months.
Angled short bob hairstyles look great on most face-shapes, so it’s more about the smaller tweaks of the cut that gives it a specially tailored look. Some examples are the undercut or the bangs.
To keep up the shape daily, use DevaCurl Volumizing Foam followed with either a curl gel or cream depending on the season. During the warm months, use DevaCurl Ultra-Gel and during the cold months, use DevaCurl Supercream. Let it air-dry and sometimes follows up with her diffuser on low for about 5 mins to give it some extra volume.

If you have any texture then it’s going to take a product and at least 20 minutes of blow drying and round-brushing to get it to lay this smooth.
This short hair cut also looks great curly so with the right product, a girl with curly hair could let her hair air dry and it would be really cute.

I recommend this type of style for any woman that has thick hair and someone that may not like to shampoo often. This look gives you the option to wear it with natural curls, smooth it and volumize the next day, then do soft beachy curls (as in the picture) with their flat iron.
I wouldn’t recommend this haircut to those with fine or thin hair because they lack the thickness to make this stacked look. For fine/thin hair, I’d recommend a long bob (Lob) with long layers.
Short to Medium Bob
I love that this style creates a fuller look on any type of hair while still keeping flowing layers and movement!
For this hairstyle, use Bumble and Bumble Thickening spray and All Style cream before blow drying to add volume. When the hair is dry, finish with Oribe Dry Texture spray to give the hair a tousled, textured, lived-in look.
This style is great for those who have fine hair (but a lot of it) and have a hard time getting volume. This style can be a wash and wear look if you have very curly hair because it will give the curls a lot more bounce. Straight hair is going to require a little bit of effort! I believe any face shape and any age can pull off this look. Rounder faces should have the front come below their chin, while heart shaped and square faces should have the front right at the chin. The ideal clients for this haircut are those who have a little time in the morning to style their hair. It is a great look for those in the professional world that want a style they can have fun with!

A graduated angled bob is where the back is cut to the hairline and the front reaches almost mid-neck when the hair is straight or wet. I love the clean precise line that the back creates and the texture that is shown as the hair curls.
For fine hair, I recommend using Deva Curl B’Leave-In and Ultra Defining Gel. If your hair is thicker, I would recommend using R+Co Twister and Aircraft.
Any hair type can get a short bob haircut like this. You just have to take into consideration that if your hair is fine and straight, then you won’t see the shape as well as someone with curly hair. This haircut can be very slimming and works well with almost every face shape, especially someone with a more rounded face.
Modern Swing Bob with Bangs
Try a very roaring 1920s-inspired bob, but with a modern flair. It’s very artsy and fun. It’s easy styling and upkeep, and the edginess of the disconnected framing in the front.
To create this short hairstyle, use a small round brush to give shape to the bevel of the bob and the bangs, as well as some Kevin Murphy Anti Gravity spray for volume. For shine, I use the L’Oréal Shower Shine finishing spray. If you want a more textured look, you can use Kevin Murphy Freehold Cream.

It may not look like it, but there was a ton of texturizing involved in creating this haircut. Whether it’s messy or smoothed out, it still looks great. Who would’ve thought a simple, textured, one-length bob cut with bangs could be so chic?
